Motorola Razr was a phone used by an entire generation pre-smartphone era. Now they are back for a second inning. No, it’s not the Razr from 2004 but is a reimagination of the original. Motorola released the 2019 Razr in the US on 13th November at a not so modest price of $1,499.

Motorola learned from Samsung Fold’s and improve functionality and malfunction what Samsung has. So far the phone has shown no signs of screen bending or breaking. Motorola claims that the foldable OLED screen is durable and the users will have a lot of ease while using it.

For the price tag, the specifications aren’t quite justified. The primary screen of the phone is a 6.20 inch OLED display. The rear camera is 16 MP while the front camera is 5 MP. It has 6GB of RAM and 128GB of ROM. The processor is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 710. The battery is only 2510mAh and it runs on Andriod 9.0 Pie.
Major throwback with the Retro mode by Motorola Razr
The 2019 Motorola Razr currently available in the US through Verizon. The Indian launch date expected soon. How well will it do in the Indian market considering the price tag the company has set is a big question mark.

The smartphone market dominated in India with brands like OnePlus 7T pro and Samsung S10+. They positioned themself as the best android smartphone with less price than Razr. Any which way the new Razr is a major blast from the past and is likely to have more than a few takers.
