Ather 450X Electric Scooter launched by Ather Energy in India. They are the pioneers in making fast scooters with the speed. There were many scooters that have been classified as electric scooters but they lack the ability of speed. However, that is about to change with the launch of the Ather 450X. The Ather 450X can travel up to 80 km on a single charge. What is more interesting is that it comes with a 5-amp portable charger which makes it getting charged anywhere.
To address the issue of charging Ather Energy has set up charging grids in several locations in Bengaluru and Chennai. So, it is not necessary that you need to charge at home only. Ather 450X comes in two versions Plus and Pro
There are two versions of the Ather 450X the plus and the Pro. The Pro version produces 26 Nm in torque whereas the Pro version produces 22 Nm of torque. 0-40 km/hr can be reached in 3.9 seconds and 3.3 seconds in the Plus and Pro respectively.

The range too on the Plus and the Pro is 70 km and 85 km respectively. Currently, it is available only in select cities in India by soon it will be available in other cities. Bengaluru, Chennai, NCR, Mumbai, Pune & Hyderabad are the cities where you can pre-book your Ather 450X.
Very soon they will launch Ather 450X in Kochi, Coimbatore, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Surat, Mysore, Goa, Bhubaneswar, Thiruvananthapuram, Vadodara, Nashik, Jaipur. This scooter also comes with a LED Display that is installed on the handle and has an Android Interface.
Ather 450X will be the first scooter which will come with a reverse mode
What is most interesting or almost a first in Bikes in India is that the Ather 450X comes with a Reverse mode. So that you can take the bike out from tricky parking spots. The Pricing is rather Interesting you can either choose to buy the bike outright for Rs.
Rs. 1,49,000/- ex-showroom Bengaluru or buy the bike and subscribe for the battery. The bike will cost you Rs. 99,000/- ex-showroom Bengaluru and the subscription will cost Rs. 1699/- per month. In the subscription model of ownership, the Battery gets replaced for free if the performance drops below 80%.
