Formula One has been around the world for many years but Team Mercedes entered Formula One only in 1954 and to cease after 1955. Then the came back to F1 in 2010 with Michael Schumacher and Nico Rosberg. This time they came as strong as ever. F1 is about a partnership you can have the best car but if the driver is not right then you will not be able to win races. Similarly, if the racer is the best and the Car is not right you still can end up losing races. It’s just not about the Drivers and the Cars it is a whole team unit that works as a whole and together.
Mercedes came back into formula one in 2010
In 2010 Team Mercedes came back into formula one as Mercedes GP Petronas F1 Team. They managed to bring back Michael Schumacher the biggest champion of Formula One that has ever existed. Michael Schumacher had retired from Formula One in 2006 and returned only for Team Mercedes in 2010. Michael lasted for three seasons and decided to retire this time for good. Nico Rosberg was the other driver Mercedes had since 2010. But Team Mercedes required a star Driver.
Team Mercedes had veterans like Niki Lauda who lead the team
2013 the fortunes for Mercedes Team changed altogether they were able to sign Lewis Hamilton as their Driver. It was thanks to Nikii Lauda’s efforts that Lewis Hamilton was signed up. Since then there was no looking back for Team. They started off winning second in the Constructors Championship in 2013 and ever since then they have remain No 1 in the Constructors Championships. It was Lewis Hamilton that led the way on most occasions but Nico Rosberg too won one Championship.

After the retirement of Nico Rosberg, the team signed up Valtteri Bottas. Who ensured that the team remain on a winning streak. They as of Sunday have been able to accomplish the feat of winning 100 races even though the Mexican GP started off tough for them during practice and qualifying but towards the end they emerged clear victors with Lewis coming in first and Bottas finishing in the third position. A very big Congratulations for Team Mercedes.
