
Raghuram Rajan, Former Governor of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), appointed in IMF. He becomes a member of the External Advisory Group of the International Monetary Fund (IMF). He appointed as an advisor to help the global economy to come on track after coronavirus pandemic. IMF MD Kristalina Georgieva held a discussion with these new advisors on Friday. The advisors will give their opinion to the IMF chief on the changes and policy issues. This will include steps that need to take due to the crisis caused by the coronavirus epidemic.

Georgieva also said that to serve the IMF members well in these contexts, we need a quality opinion. The IMF internal external sources will suggest needful. I am glad that experts from the market and private sector have agreed to work in this direction.
