IPL Season 13 got a dim light and hope for matches this year. This is good news for cricket fans all over the world in this coronavirus pandemic. BCCI is thinking of organizing the 13th season of IPL between September and November. However, this is only possible when coronavirus numbers will reduce in the country.
A source close to the matter said that the BCCI is planning to host the IPL from the last week of September to the middle of November. We dont confirm this news as there is no official statement released by BCCI or IPL Governing Council.

The source said It is too early to say anything on this but yes, BCCI is thinking of organizing the IPL in September and November. This only possible when Corona Virus numbers will reduce and the government gives its approval. Like I said, a lot of things need to be discussed, but yes there has been talk on these dates and a possible strategy will be shared soon.

When a franchise official contacted, he said “Yes, we have been told that we should make a strategy by looking at these dates. Rather, we are making our policies keeping this in mind. But it ultimately depends on the government to decide on the tournament. There is no doubt that the government is doing excellent work to reduce coronavirus cases in India. If all falls on a place as per our expectation than tournament can start on schedule time.
IPL Season 13 matches has to finish before T20 World Cup Schedule
Another franchise official said, “Yes, we have been told about this deadline, but nothing has been decided. The match locations and how the arrangements will be made yet to be decided.” We should see these things as the next step for our preparations. The foreign players will come to play the tournament. We have to make sure that the government rules regarding the coronavirus is followed. If we want to play our 1st match in September then we have to start preparation at the end of August.
Let me tell you that the T20 world cup is also scheduled from October 2020. So if IPL Season 13 need to be played then this has to finish before T20 World Cup. Although many players have an opinion that the T20 world cup will net be played in this year. It has to postpone for next year because that needs a big preparation for Australia.
