Mumbai Marathon breaks previous records

The Tata Mumbai Marathon was an immense success this year comparing previous years.  There were 55000 people that took part in this Marathon whereas in 2019 the turnout was 49000. There were several events that created for full marathon along with half marathon for 10 km. The actual Marathon is for 42 km long and the half marathon was 21 km long. There are separate events held for senior citizens and People abled.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray flagged off the event.

It was quite an eventful with many feeling overjoyed to have achieved the feat. The event flagged off by Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray firing the gun. Tourism Minister Aditya Thackeray waved the flag for the event. Film star Tiger Shroff and Olympic Gold medallist Shannon Miller are the Brand Ambassadors of this event. Both seen taking selfies with the participants of the Mumbai Marathon. It was an event that saw unity across different levels of society. People from across caste creed status and any sort of discrimination be a part of this event.

Mumbai Marathon witness health hazards and casualties

The Mumbai Marathon also was witness to certain unseen unfortunate events. As per the report, a total of 8 people suffered Heart attacks when they were racing in the Mumbai Marathon. A 64-year-old even succumbed to the Heart attack. It was the fourth time that the senior citizen was taking part in the event. He rushed to the hospital but declared Dead on arrival. The others who have admitted have reported stable but serious.

The Corporate India Honchos hit the streets and participated in the Mumbai Marathon. As usual Anil Ambani has seen taking part in the event. N Chandrasekaran from Tata Sons along with TCS CEO Rajesh Gopinathan seen participating. Also seen was Gagan Banga from Indiabulls. There were several corporate teams as well that participated in this event. But it was the runners from Ethiopia that took home the prize in all the gold Silver and Bronze category.
