Hyundai Aura has been unveiled launch early 2020

Hyundai Aura

There was a vacuum that was in the inventory of Hyundai Motors fleet of Cars and SUVs. The void was very much in the compact sedan segment which was once ruled by Hyundai. The Accent was the Hyundai car that dominated the Compact sedan market for many years. It was then replaced by the Hyundai Xcent but recently there was no car that was there to compete with the Swift Dzire that has dominated this space for almost a decade now. Well, the answer to this vacuum has been filled by Hyundai unveiling the Hyundai Aura. It will be launched in early 2020 is what Hyundai has hinted.

The Look of the car was launched just recently but no one has been able to get the glimpse of the interiors of the Car. The Hyundai Aura looks very much like the Hyundai i10 Nios with a Boot. There aren’t many changes to the external appearances of the car comparing the i10 Nios. It will offer the same amount of space that the i10 Nios currently offers. But being a sedan the Boot is what the Hyundai Aura will additionally offer.

Hyundai Aura will be BS6 Compliant with three engine variants

The Hyundai Aura will come compliant with the new BS6 standards. What is on offer is a 1.2 litre Diesel variant and a Petrol Variant. The Petrol will come in two engine Configurations the first being the 1.2 Petrol Kappa Engine and the second the 1.0 turbo petrol unit. The later is currently also seen in the Hyundai Venue. But will not generate as much as power as the Venue. The Turbo Petrol unit will come only with a 5 speed Manual. Whereas the 1.2 Kappa and the 1.2 Diesel will come in both AMT and Manual Transmissions.

AS the official launch is still awaited there was no much information that was given about the Hyundai Aura. It looks like Hyundai is waiting for the New Year to make a New Launch. Currently, the compact sedan segment will see competitors like the Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Honda Amaze, Ford Aspire and Tata Tigor. Will it be able to beat the line up in this space is what everyone in the Automotive circles is wondering. But that wonder will have to wait until the official launch of the vehicle in 2020.
