Ravindra Jadeja Need Promotion in batting order suggested by Gautam Gambhir. Former India team opener Gautam Gambhir advised promoting Ravindra Jadeja in the batting order. Jadeja had contributed significantly to the team’s victory yesterday. He batted brilliantly in the third ODI and first T20 match in this series. Jadeja played an unbeaten 44-runs inning in just 23 balls in the first T20 played in Canberra. Due to this India able to set a strong target on the front of Australia.

Gautam want Ravindra Jadeja to be promoted at number five for batting

While speaking with a leading cricket portal Gautam Gambhir expressed his view. He said, “I want to see Jadeja batting at number five and KL Rahul at number four. Virat Kohli can play at number three and Hardik Pandya can play at number six. Number seven you can place a good all-rounder to support the top-order batsman.”

Gautam further said that Jadeja always been and very simple player. If selectors will send him to bat at number seven than he will play like number seven. But Jadeja can adjust his game if selectors will send him in top order like number four or five. He will play the batting needed at number four or five. Ravindra is the most balanced player and he always impressed with his fielding, batting and bowling.

Jadeja placement at number five will keep a place vacant for sixth bowler in Team India

Gautam Gambhir suggested that Krunal Pandya and Akshar Patel can be alternative to another all-rounder. He said, “If you ask someone to open, then he will think like an opener. Jadeja has the ability and all know his capability and competence. He has a century in his test carrier in all conditions. He has scored runs in white-ball cricket then why can’t we push him at number five. Don’t forget he can play at all levels with the same ability.

This placement of Ravindra Jadeja will work for the entire team. This combination will keep a spot vacant where you can send the sixth bowler to bowl and clear the spell with less runs. You can include another left-arm spinner like Krunal Pandya or Akshar Patel. This will be the most balanced combination for team India and everyone will get benefited.
