Actress Taapsee Pannu make fun of news channels and wrote a tweet. She said,  few news channels running anything in the name of news since the lockdown announced in India. Describing on cinemas theatres opening in the fifth phase of the unlock.  The actress said, now some news channels can focus on showing the real news instead of entertaining the people on anything in the name of news.

Taapsee wrote in her tweet, “Now that theatres are allowed to open with 50% occupancy its only fair to expect some ‘news’ channels to focus 50% more towards ‘real’ news. Thank you guys, you held the fort of entertainment long enough on our behalf. We can take over from here on.” She criticized the news channels for running the agenda on the name of the news. Many believe she is right as many news channels only running agenda since the lockdown announced in India.

Actress Taapsee Pannu also mocked a channel for  just asking but not listening

Shortly after her earlier tweet, Taapsee shared another tweet with a special video. In this tweet, she mocked a news channel tried to prove Sushant’s death as murder. She said this channel, “Just asks, doesn’t listen.” This is true in regard to a particular channel running agenda to prove Sushant’s death as murder since his death. Taapsee’s tweet appreciated by many followers but many criticized her tweets.

Recently Taapsee supported her friend and filmmaker Anurag Kashyap. Anurag is accused of sexual abuse by an actress. Taapsee wrote in support of Anurag Kashyap in this sexual abuse. She wrote, “For you, my friend, are the biggest feminist I know. See you on the sets soon of yet another piece of art that shows how powerful and significant women are in the world you create.”

Theatres will open from 15th October under Unlock-5 by GOI

The Central Government recently issued new guidelines for Unlock-5. They allow the opening of cinema halls, multiplexes, and theatres closed for the last six months. Under the new guidelines, the Cinema Halls will open with 50 percent of its capacity. This news of cinema theatres opening at 50% capacity brings a smile to the struggling entertainment industry.
