Alia Bhatt upcoming film Gangubai Kathiawadi is based on the life of Mumbai Mafia Queen Gangubai. She use to run a famous brothel in Mumbai. Now one of her adopted son Babuji Raoji Shah has filed a case against Hussain Zaidi, Alia Bhatt and Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The Alia Bhatt’s film Gangubai Kathiawadi is based on Hussain Zaidi book ‘Mafia Queen of Mumbai’.

Gangubai son Babuji Raoji Shah allege that his family has harassed since the poster and teaser of this film released. His one fo the leg got fractured during this harassment by the people. Now people from his area calling his family as prostitutes family. Alia Bhatt Gangubai Kathiawadi become trouble for Babuji Raoji Shah. Not only his family but all his relatives and other family members are also getting harassed after the film posters etc.
Gangubai Kathiawadi son Babuji Raoji Shah has filed case against film makers
Shah has described the part of a book written about Gangubai’s prostitution is disrespectful and this has violated the rights of privacy, freedom and self-respect. Shah has demanded the ban on this film production. He also demanded the ban on the printing and circulation of the book this controversial book. Shah also suggested that the chapters related to Gangubai Kathiawadi brother history need to be removed from the film.

The hearing of this case has started in Bombay City Civil Court. The court has asked for the reply from Hussain Zaidi, Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Alia Bhatt by 7 January 2021. As per the sources, The Shah’s lawyer said that a criminal case could be filed against the writer, director and actress in this case. Alia Bhatt Gangubai Kathiawadi seems in trouble at the beginning.

The case will be filed under the defamation of a woman, making a false image and circulating indecent material in public space. No official statement has been issued by Alia Bhatt or the film’s makers in the case.
Shooting of Alia Bhatt Gangubai Kathiawadi is on in the Mumbai Film City
The shooting of the film continues in the Film City in Mumbai these days. Nearly six and a half crores spent on designing the set for the shoot of Alia Bhatt Gangubai Kathiawadi. The story of Gangubai will be shown in this film. Let me tell you that Gangubai was a big name for the Mumbai Mafia in the 60s.

It has to be respected and due consent needed from the family before further shooting etc. If the family want some change in story then produced must include. The filmmakers are good in twisting original content for their commercial cinema. I hope they will do the same in this movie and take due consent from the family before further shooting.
