Cancer Survivor Sonali Bendre broke due to the death of Rishi Kapoor. She remembers the moments she spent with Rishi Kapoor. Sonali Bendre posted an emotional note on Instagram and said that we had fought this battle with an unseen monster. Rishi Kapoor died on April 30 after a two-year battle with leukaemia. Sonali herself is a Cancer Survivor. She had high-grade metastasis cancer.

Sonali Bendre shared a photo with Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor. This picture was clicked in New York during her treatment of cancer. She recalled how they both battled an ‘unseen monster’ together and ‘overcome with sorrow and pain’. Rishi Kapoor and Sonali Bendre were both treated in New York for a very long time.

Bendre wrote on an Instagram post, “Heartbroken and no longer a word. RIP Chintu Uncle. There are many thoughts and feelings going on inside me. Remembering my time in New York, how we fought together, fighting an unseen monster. Keep each other happy amidst sorrow and pain. We knew each other through this, always connected.’

She further wrote, ‘My thoughts, prayers, and love are with Neetu Aunty, Riddhima, Ranbir, family and your fans. You will always be remembered for your talent, your passion, and your enthusiasm for life.’
