A R Rahman was born on this very day in 1967 at the home of music Composer R.K. Shekhar. The early days for this musical maestro was not easy.
At the age of 9, A.R. Rahman lost his father. The family saw very tough times during those years. The rent of his father’s musical equipment was the sole income source for the Rahman family.
A.R. Rahman also assisted several Music Directors at that time. He played several musical instruments at a very young age. He also played for several music composers during his struggle.
